De La Salle University Dasmarinas enrolls in LoRa Academy to equip students and faculty with the emerging IoT Technology


De La Salle University-Dasmarinas, one of the leading universities in the Philippines, signs up with Packetworx's IoT Learning Program. Through the partnership, Packetworx will provide DLSU Dasmariñas with hardware developer kits and free access to the LoRaWAN™ Academy. 

Packetworx is a technology social enterprise that focuses on enabling IoT (Internet of Things) in the Philippines. One of its initiatives is the IoT Learning Program, which offers free knowledge and training on the LoRaWAN™ technology to schools, universities and organizations. The initiative is in partnership with Semtech and Arrow Electronics.

LoRaWAN™ Academy is a comprehensive Internet of Things (IoT) course. It aims to teach next-generation engineers with the LoRaWAN™ technology. Packetworx ensures that they have all they need to learn and develop their own IoT applications and projects. These include free coursework, hardware development kits, and other tools on LoRaWAN™.


'We are more than happy to share this new endeavor with De La Salle Dasmariñas students. We have to create a nurturing environment that will assist these students in creating potential and viable outputs that use LoRaWAN and IoT technologies.'
