DLSU-Dasmariñas conducts field trip at the IoT Technology Hub
Manila, Philippines. - Students and faculty members from De La Salle - Dasmariñas recently visited the Packetworx's IoT Technology Hub.
Forty two (42) Electronics Engineering students and two faculty members experienced learning more about Internet of Things (IoT) and its practical applications. The 5th year Electronics Engineering students toured the Hub as part of their Field Trip and Seminars class.
DLSU Dasmariñas students visited the IoT Technology Hub last March 20 as part of their Field Trip and Seminars class.
The tour exposed the students to practical applications which are relevant to the field they are pursuing. As a social enterprise, Packetworx is open to assisting students, schools, and communities. One of its tenets is to make Filipinos globally competitive in IoT. To do this, Packetworx launched the IoT Technology Hub. The Hub is a venue where students and developers can gain competitive advantage in the IoT industry. It has IoT resources, equipment and tools which they can use for free.
